How to Apply
Admissions are open year-round at LightHouse Kindergarten and there is no deadline for application. New children could be admitted mid-term for the current school year or for the beginning of a new academic cycle, starting in September. The early enrollment option is also offered for children born in 2022.
We aim to provide every assistance for inquiring parents and we encourage them to contact us via phone or email to schedule a personal meeting and a guided tour around our facility. Meetings are held individually for each family to facilitate them in receiving all information needed for their decision to apply.
New students are admitted and placed in a specific level based on their year of birth. For the school year of 2024-25 new applicants are placed as follows:
- Level K3: Children born in 2021 and 2022
- Level K4: Children born in 2020
- Level K5: Children born in 2019
- Level K6: Children born in 2018
LightHouse Kindergarten administers selective admissions policy and each child goes through a procedure of entrance assessment before being registered. All admissions are subject to availability of placement.

Visit Us
Your family is most welcome to visit us for an individual guided tour around our facility or a personal Q&A session with our director. Interested parents are invited to submit an Inquiry Form and our team will contact you shortly to schedule your personal appointment.
All applications are reviewed on individual basis and parents will receive an official feedback not later than 10 days after their child’s entrance assessment.
Accepted applicants will be enrolled and registered at LightHouse Kindergarten only after an Agreement for educational services is signed by child’s parent or a representing juridical person.

Documents
Please, note that prior to your child’s admittance for their first day at LightHouse Kindergarten, you are required to submit the mandatory medical documentation listed below. Be informed that these documents are required at the beginning of each school year for both new and returning K3-K6 children.
- Health-prophylaxis medical card completed by your child’s personal doctor (General Practitioner)
- Immunization card for mandatory immunizations translated in Bulgarian language
- Single negative test for pathogenic intestinal bacteria and intestinal parasites, carried out not earlier than 15 days before the child’s admittance to LightHouse Kindergarten
- Blood and urine tests carried out within 1 week before the child’s admittance with us
- Medical note from a General Practitioner stating the lack of contact with others with infectious diseases, issued not earlier than 3 days before the child’s admittance to kindergarten
Fixed-rates Plan
Tuition Fees
LightHouse Kindergarten applies differentiated tuition rates for new and returning students (who are continuing their education with us for a consecutive school year).
In some individual cases, preferential tuition fees are applicable for families who have been a part of our educational network previously.
Our annual tuition fee is all-inclusive and no extra charges are made in relation to children’s education as per our standard curriculum. Daily meals (breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snack) are not subject to additional payment either. A non-refundable application and entrance fees are charged upon new students’ admission, only for their first school year at LightHouse Kindergarten. All fees listed below are VAT inclusive.
Additional fees may be charged to cover optional non-pedagogical and pedagogical services, such as:
transportation, extra-curricular activities, field trips,
ski school, excursions, etc.
We guarantee a fixed-rates tuition plan for the entire course of education at LightHouse Kindergarten, provided that a long-term agreement for educational services is signed. Both standard and preferential tuition fees are all-inclusive and no additional charges are made with regard to the following:
- Daily meals
- Textbooks and supplies
- On-site events
- Field trips
- Speech therapy screening
